Picked the wrong siding color for my own house and now I'm stuck with it
I was at the lumber yard in Phoenix last month holding two siding samples, a light tan and a grayish blue. My wife said go with the tan, but I thought the blue looked sharper so I went with that. After the first week in the sun it started looking more like a school bus than anything else. Now I'm looking at a repaint job that'll cost around $1,200 just to fix my mistake. Has anyone else locked themselves into a bad color choice and regretted it immediately?

Lived with a color I hated for two years before I finally bit the bullet.

Haha I feel that, two years is basically a masterclass in lazy decorating.
