I sat on my new sectional from Big Lots for half a year with the plastic still wrapped around the cushions because I was too lazy to peel it off. My neighbor saw it and told me I was crazy, said it traps moisture and ruins the fabric over time. But honestly, isn't it just protecting the couch from spills and stains longer, or am I missing something obvious?
