You mentioned "fighting your own biology" in the whole stirring thing, but how do you actually know it's biology and not just a habit you picked up from watching someone else? I mean, we learn most of this stuff by copying people, so your wrist twisting thing could just be muscle memory from watching your dad stir his coffee for 30 years. Have you ever actually watched yourself in a mirror while stirring to see if your wrist really moves easier one way?

I always stir my coffee counter-clockwise too after I noticed the cream wasn't mixing right with clockwise spins, it makes a big difference.
