Spent $120 on a meal kit subscription to save time, but now I'm just stressed about the cooking schedule.

I thought having the ingredients delivered would solve my 'what's for dinner' problem after work. It just added pressure to cook specific meals on specific nights before the veggies go bad. Does anyone else feel like these services create more work than they save?

Tell me about it. I had the same thing happen with the pre-chopped veggie kits. Felt like a hostage to a bag of pre-diced onions, rushing to make that one soup before everything turned to slime. It just traded one kind of mental load for another.

It's like they sell you the idea of saving time but then add a countdown clock to your fridge.

Heard a podcast say these kits just move the stress from planning to a strict deadline, right?
