Spent $62 on groceries I forgot about, so now I text myself the receipt before I put bags down
Kept finding rotten produce in the fridge because I'd buy doubles of stuff I already had, $62 worth went in the trash in one month. Now I text myself a photo of the receipt right when I get home so future me knows what's actually in there. Does anyone else have a dumb little system that works way better than it should?
Wait, you threw away $62 worth of food in a single month? That's like a whole grocery run just rotting in your fridge because you bought doubles. I do the same thing with eggs, I swear I have three cartons in there right now and no clue which one is the oldest. The receipt pic thing is actually smart though, might steal that before my fridge turns into a science project.
