Loading dock worker yelled at me for leaving a paljack in the aisle and I never thought about workflow that way before

I was at the Home Depot on Industrial Blvd last Tuesday rushing to get lumber for a weekend project and some guy in an orange vest barked at me about blocking the flow so now I prep my loading area before I even grab the keys, anyone else have a random stranger's sharp words change how you operate?

Wait, so you're telling me a guy yelling at you in a Home Depot actually taught you something useful instead of just ruining your day? I gotta say that's pretty rare, usually those loading dock guys are just mad about their own stuff. But yeah, leaving a paljack in the aisle is basically like parking your shopping cart sideways in the middle of a busy hallway, it's asking for trouble. Bet the next time you see one sitting there you'll remember that guy's voice in your head, acting like a free productivity coach. Honestly sounds like he did you a favor, even if he was a jerk about it.

Pull the jack out before you leave it, takes two seconds and saves the headache.

@rowan969 nailed it, I’m basically the human equivalent of a sideways shopping cart.
