Saw a kid today trying to dial a payphone like it was a touchscreen, man that made me feel old

My first job pumping gas was at a station on Route 66 back in 1997 where every pull had a functioning phone booth outside, and now you can't find one within 50 miles of a city what even happened to public space?

Read they're adding phone booths back but as wifi hotspots or something.

Yeah @danielnelson I gotta admit I used to think phone booths were pretty much dead and gone, but seeing them come back as wifi spots kinda makes sense. People still need places to charge phones or get online when they're out.
