Rant: My Wednesday went completely off the rails in under 3 hours
So I had this whole day planned out, right. Got my coffee, sat down to tackle my inbox at like 9am. By 9:45, my laptop decided to auto-update Windows (no warning, just bam) and then froze for a solid 20 minutes. Then my landlord texts me at 10:15 saying they need to inspect my apartment tomorrow at 8am. I hadn't cleaned in like two weeks. Spent the next hour frantically shoving clutter into closets and under the bed instead of actually working. Has anyone else had a day where the universe just conspires against your plans like that?

Start cleaning my place in a panic once because my sister said she was stopping by in an hour. Turns out she meant she'd stop by next week, not today. But by then I'd already found three mismatched socks, a takeout container from last month, and that one book I swore I lost. Ended up spending the whole time organizing my junk drawer instead of whatever I was supposed to be doing. Funny how a little panic cleaning can turn into a full afternoon project.
