Shoutout to the guy at the coffee shop who fixed my bike chain with a paperclip

I was stuck on the bike path near the river yesterday, chain popped off and covered in grease. This random dude walks over from the coffee shop with a paperclip and basically threaded it back on like it was nothing. I was about to call for a ride. Has anyone else had a random stranger save them with some weird tool or trick?

Whoa hold on, that paperclip could have snapped and cut someone.

Yeah I always bend them a bit first to avoid that.

Paperclips don't snap unless you're bending them back and forth repeatedly, @michaeltorres.
