The day last Tuesday when everything went right and I got suspicious

I had a day last week where every single pour I did came out perfect. Three different jobs, three different mixes, no cracking, no honeycombing, nothing. That never happens. Usually something goes wrong on at least one slab. By 4pm I was standing there waiting for something bad to happen and it never did. Made me wonder if the universe was just setting me up for a disaster later in the week. Has anyone else had a day so good it made you paranoid?

Had a buddy who does concrete finishing tell me about a day like that... said everything was going so smooth he got nervous, kept checking his watch waiting for something to blow up. Then around 3pm he realized he'd been using the wrong color hardener on a stamped patio job. By the time he caught it, the whole thing was already set. Had to explain to the homeowner why their patio looked like a zebra and ended up eating the cost for a redo. So yeah, perfect days are usually just a setup for something you missed.
