The week I thought was cursed turned into my best one

Last month I spilled coffee on my laptop Monday, got a flat tire Tuesday, then my cat threw up on my favorite rug Wednesday. But Thursday I got a promotion call and Friday my neighbor gave me a free grill he was moving out with. Has anyone else had a week that flipped like that?

Man that's brutal how bad starts somehow turn into something great. Spilled coffee and a flat tire alone would've had me ready to call it quits on the whole week. But a promotion and a free grill sounds like the universe was just messing with you before making it right.

The universe definitely has a weird sense of humor, right? My theory is that bad mornings are actually a stress test your brain runs to see if you can handle bigger curveballs later in the day. Like a flat tire and coffee spill is the universe's way of getting your blood pressure up early so the promotion hits harder and feels more earned. That free grill probably wouldn't taste as good if you hadn't earned it through all that nonsense first. It's like your day has to earn its victory lap or something.
