Watched a storm roll in over Lake Michigan last weekend and the difference 15 minutes made was wild

I was sitting at Montrose Harbor in Chicago watching the sky go from bright blue to this dark grey-green in under 15 minutes. The lake went from calm waves to whitecaps so fast I barely had time to pack my bag. It was that weird pressure drop before a thunderstorm that hits right around 4 PM. Has anyone else noticed how fast the weather shifts near the Great Lakes?

Did you feel that pressure drop in your ears too?

oh totally, i got that exact ear-pop thing walking to the train after work last tuesday. it's like your head knows before your eyes do. amazing how fast it flips from calm to chaos out here.

Thing is, I barely noticed anything different when I was walking home that day. No ear popping, no pressure change, nothing. Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention or something. The sky was kinda blue and then it was sorta gray and people were moving faster but that's just Tuesday in the city basically.
