I finally beat that stubborn toilet flapper after 3 hours
My bathroom toilet kept running all night and I figured it was a 10 minute fix. Turns out the chain length and the flapper seal both needed adjusting, plus the fill valve was set wrong. I watched three videos and read the box instructions twice before it clicked. Has anyone else found that the cheap rubber flappers just don't sit right no matter what you do?

Swear my toilet has a vendetta against me, took me a whole afternoon just to realize I had the flapper chain twisted like a pretzel. Now I just whisper sweet nothings to it every time I flush so it behaves. You ever just stare at the tank and wonder who designed this nonsense?
