Just paid $180 for a robot vacuum and it's already paying for itself in arguments avoided
Bought a Roborock Q5 last Tuesday after my wife threatened to start charging me rent for leaving crumbs everywhere. Three days in and she actually said 'good job' without sarcasm. Anyone else find that spending money on a stupid appliance resolved more marriage tension than actual conversations did?

Wait, wasn't the Q5 closer to $300 though?

lol "years of trying to talk things out" that part got me. But honestly the Q5 was going for around $250-$280 depending on where you looked, not $300 flat. Those people that paid $300 got ripped off at Best Buy or something.

Good job without sarcasm" huh... funny how a $180 machine gets more appreciation than years of trying to talk things out. I'd be careful though, next thing you know she'll expect you to buy a mop bot every time you forget to take out the trash.
