My morning routine used to take 45 minutes until I gave up on matching socks...
I used to spend forever digging through my drawer trying to find two socks that matched perfectly, even if they were the same color but slightly different shades. Now I just grab any two that are roughly the same length and call it a day. My coworker Sarah at the office in Austin called me out last Tuesday because I had one navy and one black sock on... still got my work done though. Has anyone else just given up on small stuff like this?

Roughly the same length" is my new fashion philosophy too (honestly, it's a game changer for mornings). I started doing that with my coffee mugs last year - now I just grab whatever clean one is on top instead of hunting for my favorite. It's amazing how much peace of mind you get back when you stop sweating the tiny stuff.

Exactly that. The peace of mind part is the real win. I stopped caring which spoon I use, which fork, even which plate. It sounds dumb but it frees up so much mental space. Now I just grab and go.

Watch out everyone, we've got a REBEL over here who doesn't care about matching her socks anymore.
