TIL the $30 I put into a label maker for my spice jars was worth every penny
I always rolled my eyes at people who label their pantry, it looked like a waste of a Saturday. But after 20 minutes digging for cumin when I actually had none, I grabbed a $30 label maker at Target in Boise. Two weeks later I have not bought one duplicate spice, which used to happen about every other grocery run. I can see every jar at a glance and dinner prep is faster because I am not guessing what is in an unmarked bag. My partner thinks it looks like a science lab but has stopped asking me where things are. Has anyone else gone small like this and had it pay off more than you expected?
