Tried a cheap torque wrench from Harbor Freight, blew my mind

I've been using my dad's old Craftsman torque wrench for years and figured the $25 Pittsburgh one would just be a gimmick. Calibrated it against a borrowed Snap-On last week and it was dead on within 3 percent, honestly shocked at how consistent it felt. Has anyone else found a budget tool that turned out to be a total sleeper hit, or am I just getting lucky with this batch?

The part about it being "dead on within 3 percent" is what got me. I mean, the real sleeper hit for me was a $12 digital angle gauge for setting driveline angles on my truck. Everyone obsesses over torque specs but nobody thinks about the angle part, and that cheap thing matched my buddy's expensive digital protractor perfectly. Maybe it's just luck but I feel like the cheap stuff that does one simple thing right usually beats the fancy multi-tool garbage.
