A dev's comment on my plugin code really made me rethink things

Got some feedback on my WordPress plugin submission yesterday. The reviewer said my variable names were way too vague, like using $temp for everything. They suggested naming things after what they actually do, like $user_query_results instead. I went back and renamed about 20 variables across 3 files last night. The code makes way more sense now when I read it, even to me. Has anyone else had a simple naming change totally clean up their workflow?

Yo same thing happened to me last month! Renaming stuff like $data to $customer_list made a huge difference. Now I don't even need comments half the time.

Isn't that so true? Even organizing my kitchen drawers the right way saves me time.
