Coffee shop guy made me rethink my whole morning routine
Honestly, I’ve been on autopilot every morning for like 2 years. Get up, make my same old drip coffee, scroll my phone for 20 minutes. But yesterday this random guy at the local shop on Elm Street saw me staring at the espresso machine and just goes 'You know, that waiting time is the best part if you let it be.' And I was like whatever dude, but then he explained how he uses those 3 minutes to just breathe and think about one thing he wants to do that day. Ngl, it hit different because I’ve been feeling super scattered lately. I tried it this morning and it actually made me feel less rushed even though nothing else changed. Has anyone else had a random stranger say something that stuck with you?

Always thought that kind of advice was just fluff but you might be onto something here.

Wait, @william_harris actually said that? I'm shocked, that three minutes is way more than enough time to reset your whole mood for the day.

Lol it's just staring at a coffee machine for three minutes, not exactly life changing.
