Had to decide between a booth and a food truck at the flea market today

I set up at the local flea market in Austin this morning and had a choice between a shaded booth for $40 or the food truck spot for $60. I went with the booth since it was cheaper and I was just selling handmade wooden cutting boards. Big mistake. The sun shifted around 11 a.m. and I was cooking in direct heat for three hours straight. Meanwhile the food truck guy had AC and sold like 80 tacos. My boards did okay, made about $90, but I would have paid the extra $20 to not sweat through my shirt. Any of you folks tried selling from a truck instead of a booth?

Oh man that's rough, @anderson.piper is right, that shade markup hits hard.

Did the food truck guy let you steal a few minutes of AC? Sixty bucks for tacos seems steep but that shade markup is brutal.
