The $4 box of q-tips that stole my whole evening in Tulsa

I spent 90 minutes cleaning a keyboard switch with q-tips and canned air before realizing my phone's flashlight was just reflecting off the dust, not the actual gunk. Anyone else waste a ridiculous amount of time on something that took a $5 brush to fix in 5 minutes?

Ugh, that is SO something my friend Mike would do! He once spent like two hours taking apart his whole gaming mouse, convinced there was gunk under the buttons making them stick. Turns out he just had the DPI setting too low and it felt weird. He even bought a special toolkit online and watched a YouTube tutorial before realizing he could have just plugged it into a different USB port. The worst part is he lost one of the tiny screws and had to tape the whole thing back together. Still works though, just rattles a little when he gets too hype in a game.
