The barista who remembered my order after 8 months away

I walked into a coffee spot in Austin I hadn't visited since March because I moved across town. The barista, this older guy named Ray, said "large black, one ice cube, no lid" before I even opened my mouth. I stood there confused because I'd only ordered that twice total, and both times were back in February. He said he remembers odd orders because they stick out, and mine was the weirdest he'd seen in 6 years. Made me wonder how many strangers walk around with a mental file on me that I know nothing about. Anyone else ever had a stranger recall something about you that you barely remember yourself?
