Unpopular opinion: I quit meal prepping 6 months ago and now I cook every night after my 9 to 5
For 3 years I spent every Sunday in my Austin kitchen packing 15 identical chicken and rice containers, mostly because my office job left me too wiped to cook on weeknights, but I started small in March and now I chop and cook fresh most nights after 6pm. Turns out the 40 minutes I spend cooking is the only part of my day that feels like mine, not my manager's. Anyone else find that ditching the big prep day actually gave them back more than it cost?
