Vent: blew $1,200 on a used cargo trailer for my side gig, now it just holds my lawn mower
Bought it 8 months ago thinking I'd haul furniture on weekends, made exactly $180 off it so far while my actual passion, building guitar pedals in the garage, gets zero hours. Anyone else sink real money into the money-making thing and watch the fun thing die?
I mean, is $1,200 really a disaster here? You made $180 back and you still have a trailer you can sell. Used cargo trailers hold value pretty well, so you're probably out a few hundred bucks at most, not the whole thing. That's like four months of eating out, not a life-ruining loss. The pedals aren't dying because of the trailer, they're dying because weekends are finite and you picked the boring option. Sell the trailer, clear out the garage, and see if the pedals thing even gets off the ground before you blame the cargo hauler for killing it.
