Debate: Bad weeks teach you more than good ones ever will

Had a stretch last January where my car broke down, I got a flat tire on my bike, and my fridge died all in the same 5 days. Cost me about $900 total but I finally learned how to replace a compressor relay myself. Anyone else find that rough patches force you to pick up skills you'd otherwise ignore?

Girl YES. I dropped $50 on a scratch off two weeks ago and got back like $8 lol. It was one of those $20 games too so I was so mad when I only won $2 on the first one. But then my luck turned around last Friday and I hit $100 on a $5 ticket so it all evened out I guess. Fingers crossed for both of us today cause I'm already down for the week on my usual lotto habit.
