The two hour Amtrak delay in Albany that had no food options
Sat on the platform for 2 hours waiting for the train to Chicago, and the vending machine ate my dollar AND the little cafe was closed. Amtrak kept saying 15 more minutes on the app, then it turned into 90. Has anyone else gotten stuck at that station with zero backup snacks or is it just me?

Zero backup snacks" is the real issue here, most people pack for delays but the real trick is hitting that gas station across the street before you even board, never trust Amtrak's cafe hours. Those vending machines are cursed too, I've watched them eat bills like they're getting paid overtime.
