Tried switching to no-till gardening in my backyard last spring and my soil turned into concrete after 3 months.
I figured skipping the rototiller would save my back and help the worms, but now I have cracks so deep my tomato roots are showing, anyone else had no-till backfire on them like this?

Man you too? I did the exact same thing last year and ended up with soil so hard I could barely get a shovel in. Had to add a ton of compost and water it like crazy to soften it up.
