Had to pick between a 3am delivery slot or paying a $150 rush fee for my new sign

My old sign for the Corktown shop broke last week, and the new one was stuck at the freight yard. The company said I could either wait three days for a normal delivery or get it at 3am for free, so I chose the early slot and had to meet the truck in my pajamas with a flashlight. Has anyone else had a delivery company give you a weird choice like that?

That's not a rush fee, that's a convenience fee for normal hours.

Ask @hall.joel if they actually charged a rush fee for work done between 9 and 5 on a Tuesday.

Actually @nancyn69, a rush fee is for work outside normal hours. A convenience fee is for a faster turnaround during regular business.

My last invoice had both, so I guess I'm just a convenience.
