Hired a $500 'brand expert' and she quoted me a Drake lyric
I run a small auto shop in Hamtramck and thought I was getting scammed when she suggested our logo should 'started from the bottom.' Three months later sales are up 22% and customers keep saying the vibe fits. Anyone else had a consultant win you over with something totally ridiculous?

Man, I get it. I hired a marketing guy once who told me to name our special the "Thursday Thing" and I nearly laughed him out of the shop. But it worked, people loved the weirdness of it. Sometimes the offbeat stuff cuts through all the noise better than anything polished. Glad it's paying off for you, that kind of win feels great.
