Hot take: I used to think marketing to local churches was a waste of time

For two years I ignored that whole market because I figured churches don't have much budget. Then I talked to a pastor at St. Anne's in Hamtramck who told me they spend about $8,000 a year on printing and event supplies. Now I send a quarterly mailer to 40 churches around Detroit and it brings in steady work. Anyone else sleeping on a niche they should go after?

@gollum They really do under estimate how much churches spend on printing. Me and @lilya76 found that out the hard way.

Wait, what kind of stuff are they printing exactly? Bulletins, flyers, or like banners for events?

St. Anne’s alone spends $8k a year - @lilya76 check if they need new banners.
