I compared two accounting software options for my shop and one saved me 8 hours a week

I ran QuickBooks and FreshBooks side by side for a month. FreshBooks handled my invoice tracking way faster, cut my bookkeeping time from 10 hours to 2 hours weekly. Anyone else find a system that actually saves time?

Right, because who doesn't want to do double the work for a month just to prove a point to yourself. I figured if I was gonna switch I wanted to be sure it wasn't some flash in the pan thing. Turns out my old system was held together with duct tape and hope. Now I have to actively resist the urge to go back and try to automate even more stuff just for fun.
