I swapped from Facebook ads to Nextdoor for my shop and it was night and day
I run a little bakery in Hamtramck and was throwing like $200 a month at Facebook ads with barely any walk-ins. Last month I tried a $50 Nextdoor campaign targeting just the neighborhoods around me and got 12 new customers in the first week. Has anyone else had better luck with hyperlocal stuff over the big platforms?

Makes you wonder if people actually trust Facebook ads anymore.

12 new customers in the first week from a $50 campaign" that is honestly hard to believe. I'm shocked the return was that quick.

$50 for 12 customers in a week sounds more like a special promo or a friends-and-family deal than a real ad campaign. @ray_martinez82 I'm not saying it's impossible, but those numbers usually come from a super targeted local group or a one-time viral post, not a standard low-budget run. Even on Facebook or Google, $50 barely gets you a couple hundred eyeballs before it's gone. Might be worth asking if those customers were all referrals or if it was a niche audience that already knew him. Otherwise, that math just doesn't hold up for most industries.
