Showerthought: That random Tuesday last spring where every customer actually bought something

I run a small vintage shop in Corktown and last April I had this one Tuesday where every single person who walked in bought at least one item, even the guy who just wanted directions. By 4pm I had pulled in $847 which is more than I usually make on a Saturday, and I still can't figure out what made that day different. Has anyone else ever had a random weekday like that where everything just clicked for no obvious reason?

Man, that's like finding a $20 bill in a jacket you haven't worn since winter. My own shop had a random Thursday once where I sold three different lamps to three different people who all said they were looking for "something with mid-century charm." Still have no clue what cosmic alignment caused it, but I swear I spent half the next day trying to recreate the playlist I had on.

Three lamps in one day with the exact same vibe, that's wild. But I gotta say, you probably didn't need to recreate the whole playlist - odds are it was just one of those weird random luck days that happen once or twice a year and you can't really force it again.

Probably just beginners luck after 40 years of doing this wrong.
