Had to choose between a full rebuild on a 6.0 Powerstroke or just dropping in a reman long block. Went with the rebuild and it's been a headache for 3 weeks now.

Used to think the whole thing was overblown, but then I actually sat down and read the details. Changed my whole view on it.

You mentioned "changed my whole view on it" but I think that's giving the situation too much credit. A lot of those details people are reading now were public knowledge for years, just ignored. Isn't it more like people finally decided to pay attention rather than actually learning something new?
