That time I spent an hour fighting a stuck injector with a slide hammer

I was about to go get a bigger hammer when my buddy walked in and asked why I hadn't loosened the hold-down clamp bolt yet. Turns out I'd been trying to pull the whole assembly out, clamp and all, for 60 minutes straight. Ever had a moment where the solution was embarrassingly simple?

Honestly that clamp bolt probably would've just snapped anyway.

Probably saved you a bigger headache later when it failed at the worst time. Those cheap bolts are never up to the job.

My buddy had the same thing happen on his old truck. That cheap clamp bolt gave out while he was hauling a trailer up a hill. Whole exhaust dropped and dragged, sparked like crazy. Cost him way more to fix the road damage than a good bolt would have been. He learned the hard way that stuff fails when you least want it to. Totally agree it's a blessing in disguise when they snap early.
