A comment on my last piece made me rework my whole color palette

I posted a fantasy landscape here a month ago and someone named 'PixelPioneer' said the greens looked too flat and digital, like a default Photoshop brush. I mean, they were right, idk why I never noticed. So I spent a week just painting over grass and leaves with a custom brush in Procreate, mixing in way more blues and yellows. Has anyone else gotten a simple piece of feedback that made you go back and fix a basic thing?

Feedback like that is pure gold, man.

Used to see feedback as just criticism to brush off. Wyatt_mitchell26 is right about it being valuable. Changed my view after a project went sideways because I ignored early notes. Now I actively ask for those tough comments. They save a lot of time and headache in the long run.

Totally agree, and it's wild how the right feedback can actually change your whole process like @the_tyler said. The trick is figuring out who gives the useful kind versus the noise. I've learned to listen way more to people who have been in the trenches on similar stuff.
