Hot take: Showcasing my digital piece at a green tech expo went sideways...
The solar battery for my tablet gave out mid-presentation, so my animated forest just... froze. Everyone thought it was a statement on climate change, not a tech fail.

So did you just roll with it and let people think it was a performance art thing? That's gotta be the most awkward tech fail recovery ever, having to decide on the spot if you tell a room full of green tech people it was just a dead battery.

My tablet was at 3% and I thought, "It'll make it." The perfect green tech metaphor, my gear dying while showing a digital forest. I just stood there like my own installation art piece, "Man Facing Consequences." Honestly, the slow, thoughtful nods from the crowd were way more painful than any error message.
