My first online art gallery felt like a real exhibition, not just another feed
Today's showcases are all about quick clicks, and we've lost the art of looking.

Try saving a few pieces to revisit later, no scrolling.

But honestly, is it that big a deal? It's just pictures on a screen. Setting a timer to look at art online sounds like turning a simple thing into a chore. People have always looked at art in different ways, fast or slow. Maybe the quick clicks are just how most people enjoy it now, and that's fine. Not everything needs to be a deep, slow experience to be good.

What finally helped me was setting a timer for just ten minutes to look at one piece online, with my phone off and no other tabs open. It felt silly at first, but it forced me to slow down and actually see things I'd missed on a quick scroll. The details start to show up when you're not rushing to the next thing. Now I try to do that a couple times a week, and it brings back some of that gallery feeling.

Remember that article calling it "doomscrolling art"? Feels like that's the exact opposite of how you're supposed to look at things.
