My tablet pen nib cracked inside the pen slot and I spent 45 minutes digging it out with tweezers

Was mid-way through a commission shading session on my Huion Kamvas when the nib snapped off and jammed in the hole, had to carefully pry it out with tiny tweezers without scratching the sensor, now I'm paranoid about pushing new nibs in too far - anyone else had a nib get stuck like that?

Yeah but honestly I think you're overthinking it. I've had nibs snap in three different pens over the years. Always just jammed the new one in and kept drawing. Never had any actual damage from digging out broken bits. The sensor is tougher than you'd think.

Oh man, that's brutal! I've definitely had a nib get stuck before and it's the worst kind of panic when you're trying not to wreck the pen.
