Question about art theft on a big platform last month

I posted a new character design on ArtStation three weeks ago, and yesterday I found it being sold on a t-shirt site in Berlin. The site had over 500 stolen designs listed. Has anyone else had their work taken from a portfolio site recently?

Wait, they had over 500 stolen designs just sitting there? That's a whole business built on theft... how does a site even get that big without someone noticing?

Saw a whole thread about this last week. Apparently these sites use different names and move domains when they get caught. They also count on small artists not having money for lawyers. It's a numbers game for them, just stealing from people who can't fight back easily. The whole system feels broken when you see how common it is.

Ugh that's so messed up. I saw my friend's comic panel on a mug from one of those places. It's this awful feeling, like your stuff is just out there for anyone to grab. Makes you not even want to post anything new. Really sorry that happened to you.
