Rant: My drawing tablet pen stopped working mid-brushstroke on a live stream
I was in the middle of a color demo on Twitch (about 40 people watching) when my Wacom pen just quit. No pressure, no cursor, nothing, and I had to fumble through restarting the driver while my chat was spamming "rip." Turns out the nib was jammed from me pressing too hard over a year, so I had to pull it out with tweezers mid-stream. Has anyone else had a tablet fail at the worst possible moment, like during a showcase or critique session?

Mine died right before a portfolio review, had to borrow a friend's iPad like a total mess.

Honestly is having your laptop die right before a review really that big of a deal? Borrowing a friend's iPad just shows you can adapt on the fly which is probably a better look than having everything perfectly planned. Everyone's had tech fail at the worst time, it's more of a funny story than a disaster.

Right there with you! My laptop screen went black in the middle of presenting to some senior designers once, I wanted to crawl under the table. Ended up just narrating the rest of my portfolio from memory while they looked at a dead screen, real professional moment. At least you had a backup plan with the iPad, I was just standing there like a deer in headlights.
