Showerthought: The 'speed paint' trend has killed a lot of the learning process

I was scrolling through some digital art forums last week and noticed something. Three years ago, people would post their full process with layers and explanations. Now it's all 30 second timelapses set to loud music. Honestly, you don't see the messy parts anymore, the sketches that got reworked or the color choices that got changed. It feels like everyone's just showing off instead of teaching. Has anyone else noticed this shift or am I just getting old?
