That $200 drawing tablet I picked up on a whim turned out great
I bought a used Huion tablet off Craigslist for $200 back in March, fully expecting it to crap out after a week. Turns out the pressure sensitivity is actually solid and it's held up through like 50 hours of sketching so far. Anyone else grab a budget tablet and have it surprise you?

Read a review on some art forum that said budget tablets are basically the same as the expensive ones now unless you're a pro doing color-critical work. The guy tested like five different brands and said the difference is mostly in the pen feel and driver software, not the actual drawing performance. My Huion has been reliable enough that I don't even think about upgrading. Makes you wonder why people drop a grand on a Wacom when stuff like this works fine for 90% of users.

Keep the old tablet as a second monitor trick, really helps with workflow.
