Wacom tablet driver broke mid-project yesterday

Was 6 hours into a commission piece for a client in Denver when the pen just stopped working. Tried reinstalling the driver 4 times. Lost 2 hours of work because the autosave was set to 30 minutes. Had to redo the linework from scratch in Clip Studio. Client deadline is tomorrow. Anyone else have driver updates kill their workflow?

Man I feel that. My tablet pen started drawing jittery lines right in the middle of a tattoo design last week. Had to switch to the mouse like a caveman.

My buddy's pen went haywire mid-sketch and he just stared at it like it personally betrayed him.

@lewis.finley had the right idea switching to the mouse, sometimes the primitive tools win. That pen must've looked like a traitor, sitting there all innocent after ruining everything.
