I used to send all my agency proposals as PDFs until a client told me something that stuck
For two years I sent every proposal as a 15 page PDF to potential clients. Then last month a guy in Denver told me he didn't even open it because he reads everything on his phone now. I switched to using a simple Google Doc with clickable links and a short video walkthrough. My close rate went up about 30 percent since making that change. Has anyone else had better luck with video proposals over written ones?

Same thing happened with my bids. Was doing these long PDFs nobody read. Switched to a 3 page email with a Loom video at the top and started winning way more jobs.

Hold the phone, @wade871. You just blew my mind a little bit. I can't believe you ditched the PDFs entirely and went with a Loom video. That is so different from what I thought worked, but it makes total sense when you put it that way. Did you find that clients actually watch the whole video, or do they mostly just skim the email text? I'm genuinely curious because I've been stuck in the long proposal trap for years now.
