Our email newsletter finally hit a decent open rate

After testing different subject lines for a month, we got a 25% open rate on the last send (which is way better than before). It's a small win, but it makes the work feel worth it.

A month of testing just to get to 25%? That seems like a really long time for that result. Most campaigns I've seen hit that baseline much faster with simple personalization. Your audience must be super tough to crack.

Actually, that's normal for some audiences.

Totally get what you mean about the work feeling worth it. That comment about it being normal for some audiences, like @bailey.shane said, is so true. I see this all the time with my friends trying to get a group to agree on where to eat, where one person's suggestion finally works after a bunch of tries. It's that same slow build to a small win.

Cool that you got to 25% open rate with subject line tests. Pushing further, you could test adding the reader's name or a clear benefit. For example, some newsletters see better results when the subject line asks a question the audience cares about. Small changes like that can keep boosting your numbers.
