Our Google Ads account got suspended out of nowhere last Thursday with zero warning

We had been running the same campaign setup for 6 months with no issues, and suddenly Google flagged us for 'circumventing systems' without any explanation. I spent 3 hours on the phone with support and they couldn't tell me which policy we violated. Has anyone else had this happen and actually gotten it resolved?

Yeah thats not quite right about the appeals not working. I had a similar suspension a few months back and filing with a detailed account history actually got my account reinstated in like 4 days. They want to see that you're being transparent, not hiding anything. And about the automated response thing - yeah you sometimes get one at first but if you keep pushing and ask for a human reviewer specifically, they do escalate it. The whole "let it go and move on" approach just means you lose whatever ad history and optimization data you built up over those 6 months. That data is worth way more than starting from scratch on a fresh account.

Did you try filing a appeal with a detailed account history attached?

I mean I get where @marywilson is coming from but honestly is filing an appeal and digging up a whole account history really worth the headache for a minor issue? Half the time they just give you some automated response anyway and it's not like they're gonna reverse a ban or refund a small charge based on a detailed timeline. Unless you're out like serious money or something I'd just let it go and move on.
