Coworking in Bali was a waste of time and money for me

I spent 3 months at that Hubud place in Ubud last year. Yeah the vibes are nice but I got way less actual work done than just staying home. Between the constant socializing and the spotty wifi on rainy days I think I lost like 10 billable hours a week. Am I the only one who found coworking spaces more distracting than helpful?

Did you try any of the quieter coworking spots outside the main tourist areas? I found a place in Canggu that worked way better for me once I stopped going to the popular hubs.

Tried one near Sanur once, total game changer. @robin628 that Canggu spot sounds solid if it cuts the chaos.

Oh, I have to jump in here. @nathan901 I think you might be mixing up Sanur with somewhere else. Sanur doesn't really have many coworking spots, at least not the kind you'd call a game changer. There's a place called Outpost or something near there, but it's actually in the Sanur area closer to the bypass, not right on the beach. I've been to a few in Canggu too, and while they can be busy, the quieter ones off the main drag are definitely worth finding if you don't mind a short scooter ride. Just double check the map next time, because Sanur is more of a laid back local area than a coworking hub.
