Coworking space in Bali messed up my whole routine
I was at Dojo Bali in Canggu last month and the wifi kept dropping every 20 minutes during a client call. Lost a $400 contract because I couldn't hear their revisions and the connection died when I asked them to repeat it. Has anyone else had a bad experience relying on those trendy coworking spots for important work?

Can't believe their backup generator failed for two hours. That's just unacceptable.

Wait, didn't I read somewhere that Dojo Bali had a power outage thing back in February (or maybe it was March)? Yeah, a buddy of mine said their backup generator failed for like two hours during a big digital nomad meetup. That's rough about the contract loss though, I feel like places like that oversell their reliability because they look cool on Instagram. I honestly think coworking spaces in tourist spots are a gamble for serious calls unless you bring your own mobile hotspot as a backup (which kinda defeats the purpose, right?).

Oh man, I kinda disagree actually. I mean, yeah the Instagram hype is real, but I've had pretty solid luck with coworking spots like Dojo if you pick the right days. Idk, relying on a hotspot is fine, but a lot of these places have decent fiber and backup systems, even if they fail sometimes.
