Coworking space in Bangkok had the AC set to like 60 degrees

I visited this coworking spot in Bangkok called Hubba last week and the air conditioning was absolutely freezing. I'm talking shivering while typing, had to put on a hoodie indoors in 90 degree weather outside. The place was packed with digital nomads all bundled up like we were in a ski lodge. Idk if they're trying to keep the humidity down or what but it was honestly miserable. I get that Thailand is hot but isn't there a middle ground somewhere? Has anyone else dealt with this at coworking spaces in Southeast Asia?

Wait wait wait. Did you really say 60 degrees? Like Fahrenheit? That's basically a walk in freezer temp, not a place where people are supposed to sit and work on laptops. I would've been out of there in like 10 minutes flat, no joke. My fingers literally go numb when it's that cold and I can't type for crap. Feels like they're trying to turn the whole place into a giant refrigerator for all the electronics or something. Honestly I'm kinda shocked anyone stays there long enough to get any work done.

@wesleyb20 you're not wrong about the fingers going numb thing. I've worked in a couple of coffee shops that kept it freezing and honestly I just started bringing fingerless gloves with those little flip-top mittens. Sounds silly but it works. Also if you're there for a few hours try to sit as far from the AC vent as possible. One place I went had a spot near the bathroom that was like 10 degrees warmer somehow.
